The super speed shown in Man of Steel dwarfs that of anything in the Thor movies. They were actually blitzing individuals, barely qualifying as a blur.
Not to mention Faora's fighting skill.
Smh, they made Thor look weak yet again in this film(second movie in a row). He fights with such blatant PIS and while we're on the subject: Marvel needs to step their game up with Thor's fights. What happened to the coolness of the Frost Giant scene from the first film?

I don't see how Faora can do anything to permanently put Kurse down. Sure she'd smash the shit out of him but I doubt it would put Kurse down long enough for a KO.
As for Thor fights, Odin outright demoted the Asgardians from gods to space-people with high longevity. So unless we get some additional evidence of Thor being immortal, there's going to be more disappointment to come with his fights.
There's a sequence in MoS where Supes knocks Faora off her feet at normal speed during the Smallville fight and she's reduced to crawling around until Supes tries to fly off with her. The only thing that saved Faora was the fact that Supes was fighting her and the big Kryptonian at the same time, because she was straight-up outmaneuvered by the farm boy at that point. I say Kurse, being more aggressive and, based on his age and position, more experienced, gets Faora down and pounds on her until the helmet breaks, then... game over.
