Jaden Korr vs Antares Draco

Jaden Korr

Powers and Abilities

Korr was a powerful Force user, mastering his entire core Force abilities, as well as other Force powers. He demonstrated a remarkable level of telekinesis when he used the Force to push down a large pillar in order to make a bridge during the Battle of Korriban, and showed strong abilities in the areas of Force speed. But perhaps the most incredible of his abilities was his capacity for mastering both light and dark-side oriented Force powers. This can be in part attributed to the teachings of his master, Kyle Katarn, who also displayed similar feats through his use of Force lightning and Force choke. Unlike Katarn, Korr was plagued with doubt over his ability to utilize dark side techniques, questioning his identity as a Jedi. Throughout his lifetime, Korr may have learned Force powers ranging from Force protection, Force healing, Mind trick, and Force absorb to Force drain, Force rage, and Force choke. Korr displayed a sort of natural affinity for Force lightning, though he struggled with the implications of its use. He was also able to perform, to a high degree, an uncommon application of the Force called Cleanse.

Korr was highly skilled with a lightsaber, echoing his master's swordsmanship. He utilized the medium style, and perhaps even the fast and strong styles. Although he commonly carried two lightsabers, Korr tended to favor using only one lightsaber in combat. He demonstrated masterful use of the lightsaber when defeating Alora, Axmis, Tavion and the Sith Spirit of Marka Ragnos. Korr was adept in fighting multiple lightsaber/Force-wielding enemies, even up to a three-on-one match, as demonstrated by his duel with Rosh Penin. He was also able to hold his own against famed bounty hunter Boba Fett, an experienced Jedi killer. He was also skilled with a wide variety of blasters and other weapons, as evidenced by his encounter with Rax Joris.

Korr was a pilot, and frequently flew the Far Wanderer, his Z-95 Headhunter. When the Raven's Claw was towed into an Imperial Dreadnaught by a tractor beam, he also was shown to be at least a moderately skilled gunner, as he had to destroy some flying TIE Fighters. During his mission to Zonju V, he proved to be an adept swoop rider and demonstrated his mastery of mounted lightsaber combat techniques.

He was also able to understand Shyriiwook to at least a minimal extent as demonstrated when he met Chewbacca.

Antares Draco

Powers and Abilities

A powerful Force-user, Draco was extremely skilled both with a lightsaber and behind the controls of a starfighter. He was said to be a competent and cunning warrior and proved this claim on several occasions, aiding in fighting off legions of Sith on Vendaxa, Agamar, and Taivas, and singlehandedly cutting down a large group of Sith on Korriban. Draco was skilled with various uses of the Force, including telekinesis, sensing disturbances in the Force, and the Force shield talent. Although he usually fought with a single lightsaber, he was able to effectively use two, even when one had dual blades. He dueled Darth Krayt, but was ultimately defeated. He also defeated Eshkar Niin in lightsaber combat once, but Niin, by then Darth Havok, bested him in their second duel, subduing Draco with Force lightning. Draco had a strong will and resisted Havok's subsequent torture for long periods of time, refusing to betray Imperial secrets in the face of physical agony.

Who would win?

This should be a pretty epic fight ^^

Both are, while not top-tier badasses, recognized as formidable by those who are, and have some pretty nice feats.

Personally, I believe Korr takes this.

I'm not sure about that, Draco's pretty badass with a saber.

Like, his defeat by Darth Havok? That was after he just beat 7 Sith a minute before.

What an epic level of brain fart on part of the author(s) who have defined this character. 🙄

It seems as if author(s) are trying really hard to pull off a Revan with this kind of BS but it is not just working.

- Force lightning is useless talent for Jedi. The effectiveness of this power depends upon the mindset of the Force-user, influenced by emotions such as anger and hatred. Sith possess ideal aptitude for this application, not Jedi.

- Force Drain represents spectrum of powers that not suitable for Jedi either.

- Force Rage doesn't suit the mindset of Jedi either.

- Force Choke is fine though since it is a telekinetic application.

This explains the situation:

From Star Wars: The Old Republic: Encyclopedia

THE FORCE is a vast, unknowable energy that surrounds and binds all living things in the galaxy. But like life itself, the Force has a dark side, exemplified by base emotions such like aggression, hatred, or fear. Sith famously adhere to the dark side, using the Force to corrupt, shape and destroy life. Those who draw on these darker aspects of the Force are often corrupted in turn, sinking further into evil even as their mastery of the dark side makes them incredibly powerful.

The power takes its toll on the body, however, and many acolytes of the dark side die young, unless they can find some way to prolong their life.

&

From Star Wars: The Old Republic: Encyclopedia

Of all the Force-using sects that explore the dark side, none are more feared throughout the galaxy than the Sith. Through the Sith, that dark side expresses its true nature---strong, aggressive, and willing to survive at any cost. If a Sith can endure the physical price of drawing on its power, they deserve to be ascendant. Through their focus on these elements of the Force, the Sith have developed terrifying powers, such as the ability to drain a being of its life force, or unleash their hatred as crackling bolts of energy.

Their should be a check on sheer level of idiocy that runs rampant in the mythos.

Jaden Korr = Charlie Hunnam.

Jaden Korr has used Lightning canonically, or else it wouldn't be in there. I'm not gonna make completely unsourced and false claims, bro. 😛

Antares Draco, good duelist but limited arsenal. Step up your arsenal dogg! 😂 - Jaden Kor

Antares uses Tk and, according to the Legacy era campaign guy, force barriers (which is no surprise- many strong force users in Legacy use that, including other IKs).

They seem to be of the 'use the force to throw the opponent off balance or defend against their force attacks, but the main offense is killing with sabers,' school of combat.

I forgot about this.

Korr wins because i say so :3

Antares is more impressive.

Draco.

LOL@LeGenD being consistently LeGenD in 2013.

Korr

Antares seemed pretty formidable in his respect thread

Probably him

Korr.

Not sure, being honest. Antares is more skilled and better equipped, but Jaden is just more powerful.
