Just Realised that their names are there colours. Also the represent different fairy tales but that was clear from the outset.
i say team RWBY
Really? Damn, lol. (No disrespect.)
Well... they more just reference them than actually represent them, I think. I seem to remember Monty confirming that himself, but I'm not quite sure. It matters little though. Lol.
Possibly. They're a more diverse group with a proven sense of teamwork, but they're less experienced and not quite as strong (from what we know). It could go either way IMO.
It's about time Link had some legitimately interesting competition again. Especially here. haermm

theyve got a few alright ones
I'd be fairly willing to accept mach 5, hypersonic, if they show a bit more ease with bullets or do something similarly cool as the series goes on, but mach 10+ is stretching it, but again I'm not far in, so if they have really cool feats later my mind may change.
That said, at that speed OoT Link could arguably handle all four at once. mmm

So, screw you guys, I've started watching it.The girls are quick, but so far I'm wondering what provoked Sacred into putting them against four Links? mmm One might've been a bit more fair, unless they get better feats further along that I just haven't seen yet?
About time. 😄
Some of their feats are arguably comparable to Link's, so I didn't want to chance being called out for spite. Not that I believe it would be. I just saw teams as a better idea.
And yes, it's going to take time to build feats. The series is still a bit fresh, and the story hasn't fully taken off yet. Right now, they're just setting the foundations and delving into the characters a little more. Anyways, how far are you currently?

Ep3.Ruby is adorable. I resent her for it, though, because she is clearly designed to be adorable rather than simply coming across that way. uhuh
OK. You've still got a lot to see then.
I know, right?! haermm They actually did some of that for the sake of character development. You'll see. Regardless, she's quirky as shit, and it's hilarious. This show has everything, and I f**king love it! 🤘
Episode 8 contains the "big fight" and provides a lot of good feats for them outside the trailers.
To be fair, she did have Weiss assisting her with a forced shift in gravity, and most of her "strength" is derived from the same marked rounds she uses to propel herself. Though to seamlessly handle such amount recoil does still say something of her strength. Then again, Yang executes similar actions with her energy projection.
Is Weiss' power gravity based? I don't really recall, but okay.
That's mostly what I mean by the recoil being all over the place. They use the force to propel themselves around, but it's mysteriously absent when fired like an actual weapon. It's just something that irks me slightly, but not enough to interfere with the show.
Ruby has marked rounds (as seen in the trailer) made specifically to propel her. And yes, Weiss can use black/white dust for gravity manipulation. This was how she launched Ruby, as well as making a vertical trail along the cliffside which could be traversed.
Now that I think about it, I'm not sure the gravity glyphs affected the bird at all, so her strength (assisted by recoil, or course) was, in fact, in play. I don't take anything away from her, but I'm not exactly convinced that she's physically the strongest; I still feel like that's Yang's game.
Most of their speed seems to come from their various ways of propelling themselves, but they can move very fast doing that. Their reactions and combat speed are plainly superhuman. I'm not willing to call hypersonic+ on it yet, but I'm only as far as the bird decapitation.
This far in, it seems having them fight anything more than one Link at a time is cruel. mmm
They'd stop at 1, might as well make it 'they fight each Link one at a time" or they'll never get past OoT Link. Their auras won't be worth anything against Fi, either, so you may even want to restrict him to not using his sword. mmm
Imho, he'll still win, though, as they're outclassed in all areas except mobility.
Crescent Rose' sniper rounds won't do anything to him, he's worn explosions more damaging than Yellow's gauntlets on his face, his casual tosses have been estimated to be equivalent to multiple tons of TNT, and his combat speed is likely superior to Ganondorf's. (He wins tennis :V)
But if we heal them and have them progress anyway at least we get to discuss further match ups.
They probably can't even hurt WW Link. So there's that.
