1984 T-800 vs 1991 T-800

Which is the better Terminator based on screen feats?

Physical strength
Agility
Accuracy with a gun
Intelligence
Ruthlessness

etc

?

In those 5 categories, the '84 model only excels in ruthlessness. And even then because it's mission was more direct.

the '91 T had every other category covered. Physical Strength? Going toe to toe with the T-1000 beats out everything the '84 model did. Agility? Emm, they were about equal there. Accuracy? Well, the blasting of the locks on a chainlink fence and the deadeye firing of the T-1000 off the police car are very good accuracy peaks, especially the blindfire one. Intelligence? Well, the '91 got it's neural Proccessors reset to read-write, so it can learn more than the '81.

And that's my opinion in a can.

That's a good one too about the read-write now that you mention it.

Also I thought the '84 model was more ruthless because no human beings interfered with it; nobody programmed it....''you're not a terminator anymore''. So the 1984 model did not hold back

1984 Terminator had better clothes and hair-do(looked more evil / mean) 🤣

I'll be back vs Hasta La Vista, Baby

In theory, they should be the same machine.

But the '91 T-800 had better feats as already stated.

'91 in a stomp.

Getting the crap beaten out of it by the T-1000 hardly qualifies as "beats out everything the '84 model did". The 1984 model was able to break through a solid steel door of the factory where Sarah and Reese hid. It also survived the the explosion of a truck and a pipe-bomb going off inside its torso also failed to completely destroy it. Durability and strength wise, the 1991 model's got nothing on the 1984 model, because they're pretty much the same thing.

Pretty much agree here. 91 model got knocked out when a steel pipe was driven through him. 84 model had half it's body blown away and still kept going.

Though targeting wise, 91 model definitely wins. Emptying a whole gatling gun on the cops without killing anyone was a better targeting feat than anything the 84 model did. 91 model was also smarter.

In the end though, I'd put my money on the 84 model. Just tougher and more badass all around.
