Translation

Hi guys new to the forum. Really struggled to get a translation to this. Can anyone help?
It's from my cousin who has just lost someone and I want to know what she is saying as I'm worried!

If this is written in elvish, you might try pulling up a translator online and identifiying individual letters. I'll get around to it later due to curiousity.

I have tried but as its the first time i have looked at this, it makes no sense to me.

The text is a little hard to read since some letters are hard to distinguish. My conclusion would be that it says:

Only love kill (can?) leave such a mark
Only love can heal such a scar
