No, because the weapon was under Proxima's control. She was able to direct it and use it's power as she pleased.
If someone threw a building on me, I would be crushed by it. However, if someone tied me up under a building and sealed me underneath with the only way to escape being lifting the building, I would be RESTRAINED or HELD DOWN by the weight of the building because I couldn't lift it.
You don't seem to understand the difference between simply being restrained by something, and having the entire weight of something baring down on you. Hulk was stopped by the former, not the latter.
