Reed's powerset is to almost instantly whip up stuff to help his team win against the bad guys, even if he knows nothing of them beforehand.

...like I said the marvel universe is loaded with powerhouses who can occupy or defeat some of the members of this "super-family" team. While they are occupied this can give the geniuses time to formulate a plan. Hell the geniuses may not even be needed. And you say that they know nothing about the characters on the super-family team, they don't know anything about the marvel universe which is even worse since you didn't state if they had any knowledge of them prior to invading an entire unknown universe
