"Computer scientist Evelyn Caster (Rebecca Hall) uploads her husband Will (Johnny Depp)'s brain into a computer after he is assassinated by terrorists. They work toward their goal of Technological Singularity, as a radical anti-technology organization fights to prevent them from creating a world where computers can transcend the abilities of the human brain."

Produced by Chris Nolan, this is Wally Pfister's first film as a director. Writer's include The Dark Knight's Jordan Goldberg, Alex Paraskevas who wrote the script for Walker Payne, and Jack Paglen, who's going to be involved in the screenplay of Prometheus 2.
