Also, vets get screwed even in the US. I work at a college and see firsthand many vets, wounded and otherwise, struggling to reintegrate into the workforce by completing courses and earning degrees. Even though their school is technically paid for, the amount of bureaucratic BS they have to deal with, the unyielding quota and criteria, and the flimsy support structure on campus really hurts them.

I didn't mean to offend you, wilco. I'm sorry if I made you angry, and thank you for detailing aphasia for me. Your continued posts are now making sense to me.

I agree that America treats their veterans like crap. In my opinion, anyone who serves their country, who puts their lives in danger for the good of their country/the betterment of the world, deserves to have any kind of help they need for free, as long as they live. Unfortunately, governments are selfish, and will never live up to that.

It's 7:30 am on Christmas Day in Australia at the moment. We'll have seafood Lunch. Fish (mullet and nile perch) squid (calamari) and prawns.

YUM. My mom used to make shrimp scampi for Christmas Eve dinner every year... SO GOOD.

Actually, I've done a prawn garlic sauce. You fry it for about 1 minute and it's done. Maybe even 50 seconds. It was green prawns, though it is as.....when the color is going orange...it's done.
