Would Frodo have killed Sam?

We all know that Smeagol killed Deagol, because he he wanted the ring from him & it drove him mad. In ROTK, when Frodo finds out that Sam has the ring, he's determent for Sam to give it back. however, Sam hesitates, but slowly gives it back, & Frodo snatches it out of his hand. If Sam hadn't given him the ring. Do you think Frodo may have become really angry, & in his anger would murder Sam? Do you think it could get that far, if Sam didn't give him the ring? Please give me your thoughts in the comments.

Yes, because the Ring was all too powerful and he would have killed for the Ring.
