Writer's Intent: Hulk vs Doomsday
Over the years I've noticed that anytime somebody makes a thread involving HP Doomsday the words "writer's Intent" are thrown around to make it almost impossible for him to ever lose a fight. However that argument can go both ways. So with that in mind I pose the following question for debate.
Based on writers intent and feats who would win a fight between HP Doomsday or the Hulk?
Pro Doomsday argument: Doomsday tanked the OE, adapted to attacks from multiple high end superheroes including Superman, Orion, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, etc. Doomsday was stated by the writer in a handful of issues to be able to adapt to an attack.
Pro Hulk argument: Hulk has been stated to be the "strongest there is" by multiple writers throughout his almost 50 year history. Hulk has encountered numerous "indestructible" objects, opponents, and barriers in his career and torn through them like wet tissue paper. Hulk has healed from injuries that would kill most any other character.
Let the debate begin.
