How easy can Superman from New 52 Destroy a planet?

Probably a little out of the range Carver intended, but I loved when the Celestials were tossing planets at Thanos as weapons. That was bad@ss in my opinion.

He can't. At his most optimal power output, he was stated by the narrative to only produce mountain-busting punches. His striking power is not on par with his overall strength imo.
