Those aliens also can't mind-attack more than one person at a time and they have to be outside of thier "protective" suit, apparently.

But again, when did they show a ground force? Their entire tactic seems to hinge on wiping out cities with their larger ships and use the smaller fighters as clean up.

There's also the fact they out wiped out by 20th century jetfigthers once they lost the shields, which is gone already here. A single F-18 was able to take out one of the larger ships.

The Jedi do not need to get involved in any of these conflicts.
