Oh I agree with you.
It's always the same song and dance with this kind of stuff. If it's a male student and a female teacher people assume the kid is high fiving all his friends in triumph. If it's a girl with a male teacher they assume the guy is some kind of predator and the student some victim. Even if it's a super good looking male teacher.
Speaking of serial killers and their fans..I have always hated the fact we allow some serial killers to receive fan mail in prison. We can't stop people from sending it, but we can stop it from getting into the prisoners hands, but we don't. I find it disrespectful to the victims. I mean Ted Bundy had female fans and he quite literally would of murdered these young women if he came across them in a different setting..yet there they are fawning over him.

I wouldnt've minded if an attractive teacher of mine engaged me in naughty activities as a teenager. Would that necessarily change the fact that I was underaged, and the laws have presumed that I'm unable to formulate my own consent until I reach the magical number of 18- no. But I wouldnt've cried and screamed when the act of copulation occured, tbh. I guess that some males would develop differently, and their parents would be aghast to find out that an adult in a trusted position would "lure" the impressionable youth with their wiles.
