I'm sorry, but that's just pure bullsh*t. On average, women are more likely to be traumatized from manipulative heterosexual sexual encounters - there are probably a combination of cultural and evolutionary reasons for this, but it seems pretty clear to me that it's true. The 15 year old boy would be praised and high-fived by his friends.
Of course, there are exceptions to the rule, which is why I'm explicitly dealing with the average case.
It's not equality
I don't think "equality" is the right word, as men and women clearly have different average characteristics. It's fair to say that we should all be judged by the same standards; here, the standard is how much harm the crime does to the victims.
