Favourite trilogies

What would you class as your film trilogies? There's a list of mine below. Some may have a more instalments than 3, but I feel the later one's weren't necessary, & they should be left as trilogies
The Lord of the Rings trilogy
Star Wars OT
Star Wars PT (sorry, haters)
Back to the Future trilogy
Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy
X-Men trilogy
Spider-man trilogy
The Dark Knight trilogy
Toy Story trilogy
Indiana Jones trilogy
The Hobbit trilogy (I know the third isn't out yet, but it will be soon so who cares?)
Narnia trilogy

What trilogies would you guys put as your favourite's?

Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy
Spider-man trilogy
The Dark Knight trilogy
Toy Story trilogy
Indiana Jones trilogy

These.

Plus:
The Matrix

Vengeance trilogy
Millenium trilogy.
Cube trilogy
Blade trilogy
Mad max trilogy
Bourne trilogy
Alien trilogy
Naked Gun trilogy
Dollars trilogy
Die Hard

2 that everyone seems to fawn over that I don't have much time for would be The Godfather and Back to the Future.

^ Uh...Alien has four films to its series so would it count as a trilogy?

Because Resurrection was awful and doesn't count. Just like crystal skull doesn't count, Bourne Legacy doesn't count, die hard 4.0 doesn't count etc etc.

Plus Ripley died at the end of 3.

The Matrix Trilogy all day for me. Even though its struggling to remain relavent a new Matrix would be sick.

The Godfather and The Dark Knight trilogies>>>>

I still haven't seen the Matrix films, but I kinda wanna check em out. I don't watch many R rated films though. How bad are they for swearing, sex, violence, etc? Are there any F-bombs, etc in them?

Hardly any sex, almost none. Swearing is at a minimum compared to other action movies, violence mostly comes in the form of slow motion gun battles and well choreographed H2H fight scenes.

You have no other goal in life at this moment other than seeing this trilogy.

Three Flavours Cornetto trilogy
New Jersey Trilogy

and the rest;
The Lord of the Rings trilogy
Star Wars OT
Star Wars PT (sorry, haters)
Back to the Future trilogy
Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy
X-Men trilogy
Spider-man trilogy
The Dark Knight trilogy
Toy Story trilogy
Indiana Jones trilogy
The Hobbit trilogy
Narnia trilogy

To me, it's a 15, cuz I'm British.

They go overboard with their ratings at times.

So? We like our R rated movies.

Matrix doesn't even feel like a R rated movie.

If its not rated R in down under, then why do you care?
