Also saw this today. Plenty typical Seth Mcfarlane crass humour. Loved it. A few good cameos, 1 of which is just the greatest cameo in any film ever.

...He's the main character in a movie, that's like telling me to ignore RDJ in the Iron Man movies. Seth being new to live action acting is irrelevant because he chose to put himself in the starring role, which opens him up to criticism.

I'm just glad he dropped the Peter Griffin voice and persona for this, and is stretching himself. That was my problem with Ted, how his recycling of it (and the concept of Brian the dog) was just him extending the Family Guy and Seth McFarlane brand, rather than making an original movie.
