Nah. A lot of these guys are one-dimensional - they exist only to act as a villain to the hero (Skull, Zoom, Injustice, Crime Syndicate, Volthoom). Remove that villainy, and there's nothing interesting about them. A 'good' Ultraman is just Superman.
