Yeah, that was a nice throwback.Seems that way... Was hoping they wouldn't go there this soon.
Same here, though didn't expect it anymore after the last episode or two.
Sincerely hope it is not just a throwback, and Zoom actually becomes the Black Flash. Would be awesome to see him in a future episode.
What direction did you want them to go in for S3?
Also, I wonder if and how Barry's time meddling is going to affect the other shows.
Yeah sure seemed like they were taking it in this direction...
Doing a very rough calculation...
the diameter of the ring is what? 200m? Zoom said thet needed to do 500+ laps to activate...went with 500 laps being conservative.
500 x 200m = 100,000m total
timed about 40-45 seconds before the beam went into the sky (I went with 45s). So that's 2222.222 m/s or 1.38 mile/second. - mach 6.5. That actually matches with the story. Wells in the past said Barry is "little over mach 2" and Zoom is "at least 3-4x faster" so zoom should have been mach 6-7. Nice touch, but still silly their only that fast
where did Jay find his costume on earth 1?

He might have had it in a ring on his person somewhere.
~ Diameter or circumference?
If the diameter is 200m, then the distance they covered is at the very least (500 * 200m * ~22/7) = ~314285.7m, and their speed is ~Mach 22.
IMO, Zoom should be faster after getting Barry's Speed Force, but prolly not that fast.

that time remnant thing doesn't make sense. If the Barry from a few minutes ago dies, the current Barry wouldn't exist... it would have made more sense if the "current" Barry sacrificed himself so that the Barry from a few minutes in the past could live.
I would just chalk it up to speedforce protection. His connection to the speed force was strong enough that he is protected from being erased like that.
What doesn't make sense to me is they try to imply Zoom wasn't as fast as Reverse Flash, except Zoom can also run back in time and create time remnants, and he can do it without the aid of the particle accelerator. So Zoom is indeed way faster then Reverse Flash? Or what is going on here?

Hunter never implied that he was slower than Eobard. He meant that he was not fast enough to create a Speed Mirage that would be on Earth-1 while he was doing his shit on Earth-2, (a speedster has to be moving back and forth to create the mirage and there's a 'connection' between the two).
Besides, Barry has already smacked around RF twice this season.

I don't know. After season 2, just wanted them to take it easy, go somewhere happy with the show again. As someone expressed earlier, want to see more of happy Barry again, as opposed to brooding Barry (save the brooding shit for something like Arrow), and Flashpoint is one of those storylines that I feel would've been better saved or used for a later season than just after the one we had.
Really don't expect much as far as that, which is why I also feel Flashpoint won't be executed as well in the CWverse as like with the animated movie or something, but we'll see.
