The Flash

Lmao apparent Zoom is as fast as current Flash as he was able to tag him and almost kill him before being saved by the Wraith

This show sucks with power levels

Yeah, dunno wth is going on the last few episodes. This one was even worse than the previous one. The thing with Zoom is made worse considering

Spoiler:
they also jump to a point later in time, where Barry is canonically faster than he was against Zoom (who he matched at the time they fought), when he fought Savitar, but slower than he is now.

It's like the different writers of the show don't actually watch episodes they don't write themselves.

One thing that I will say for Titans is it's been pretty consistent so far in how the characters have been portrayed. The CW could take some notes.

Theyve never kept consistent with his speed. Whenever Thawne (and now Zoom) come along they are always Barrys equal again.

But I liked it regardless. Reminded me Zoom was actually a pretty great villain. Would like him to return properly the way Reverse Flash always does.

I doubt they would do that. I think one of the main reasons RF is still around is due to popularity. Fans love him, particularly when he is being played by Tom Cavanagh. Zoom never seemed to get that popular, even if he still has some of the most badass moments in the show, IMO. Like this one:

One of the few characters to have actually performed the "snap everyone's necks before they can react" feat (which argument often ends up in Versus threads with any character with super speed) onscreen.

I mean I can only speak for myself but (aside from Grodd who cant be used weekly for obvious reasons) Zoom is their second best villain behind the Wells/RF character.

So I think itd be good to switch between the 2 instead of always going back to Thawne.

Im not asking for Savitar or Devoe back, thats for sure.

Oh God, who would want them back?

But yeah, I liked seeing Zoom again, even if him being able to keep up didnt make sense.

Say what you will about Devoe, he put the Flash (and the team), through hell.
He finally gave them a villain they couldnt just outrun, and was two steps ahead of them till the very end.

Speaking of, Cicada has been SUCH a disappointment. Other than the actual threat he represents, he’s been so hella bland. This is one case where they might have been better off sticking closer to the comics version.

Cavanagh/Thawne was excellent this past episode. Cavanagh really carries the acting load in this show.

Cicada is basically Meta-Thor now lol. Super strength and durability, flight, and has a weapon that he can mentally control and which can also fire electricity. Granted, he also seemingly has force fields (which he used once and then apparently forgot about) and meta-dampening, but you get the picture.

Meta dampening is still his big gun. But Im glad at least

Spoiler:
Killer Frost can get into a super powered fight with him

Strange though given apparently in the previous timeline Supergirl couldnt stop him. So from that we would assume he could dampen any Superpowers.

Well, he still seems to be growing stronger with every episode. So, the incarnation that fought Kara in the original timeline might have been much more powerful than he is now. He's already at a point where he can casually and accidentally crush metal in his grip, take punches from Gridlock (which sent Barry flying multiple blocks), fly, and make his dagger fly around at his mental command, depower certain opponents, and fire lightning blasts. And, as mentioned previously, he can even use it to create shields.

So, even if he can't depower Kara, if his powers keep growing at this rate, he might be able to just fight her legitimately.

Interesting if thats the way they go.

Then hopefully at the end they find a way around his dampening field and have a massive super powered show down.

But I still feel like its their no kill/massively holding back rule thats preventing them stopping him.

Spoiler:
Flash had the chance to take him when they temp bfrd his dagger.

Well of course; they're heroes.

Thats not a ding on them, its just the eay things are. They arent Soldiers, or even law enforcement (Barry’s a CSI but thats not what i mean here, he’s basically still a civilian.), they're just good ppl trying to do right.
When they've been put in those situations they've reacted fairly realistically. Taking a life isnt easy nor should it be for characters like this, and it should weigh on them when they go there.

Only come easily if you are the MOS 😛

As muvh as that gets thrown around it was pretty obvious it wasnt, and weighed on him well into BVS.

Barry has actually killed multiple people, both directly and indirectly, such as Sand Demon, Atom Smasher, Cisco's brother etc.

But the writers probably don't expect people to remember or keep track of these things, as they themselves don't seem to bother.

That said, he clearly has a no kill rule. And even tries to redeem the villains he faces. Very Luke Skywalker of him.

Spoiler:
Luke has also killed loads

lol the whole Zoom thing really got some people overly worked up:

I mean I thought it was dumb. But wow, this guy made a whole video about it.

These Elseworlds episodes are great so far I think. Wish DCEU was this interesting

I watched the first one and thought it was a lot of fun. The hero swap dynamic made for some interesting and humorous situations and I liked the battle with
