He is a bit slow.

In S5E4, Iris knocks Nora out while her arm was vibrating in Barry's chest. Nora's arm continues to vibrate as it slips out said chest. Again, after she's rendered unconscious. However you defend that, I call BS. That arm should've been stuck and Barry dead in the process haermm

There were a couple of rather silly moments this season, when it came to powers. Like the episode where Nora starts channeling red lightning while running with Barry, to the scene of a crime. She starts going red, and then blitzes off into the distance, away from Barry. But then we see them both arrive at the same time. So, that actually implies that Barry was half-assing it initially lol, despite lives possibly being in danger. And it gets even sillier later when he has to stop her while she was going red lighting again while standing in that room. Not only was he casually blitzing around the red bolts, but his lightning itself actually seemed to move faster than hers.

Jeez talk about nitpicks.

Honestly im just glad the show got good again this last season. Because the season prior was just terrible.

Eh, in the end, I personally wasn't all that impressed by it, to be honest. It was better than S4, but that is not saying much. I felt S5 was little more than a rehash of S1, going through the noob speedster journey again, just with a new coat of paint. Even ended up similar to season 1, with timeline changes causing a speedster to seemingly get erased.

One part in the Season 5 finale annoys me which is

Cisco curing himself of his powers. I can get why other heroes like Bruce Banner or Rogue from the X-Men want their powers gone but Cisco flings portals that he can turn on and off at will but he wants to act like he's cursed. I'd say save those powers for emergency situations at least if he's gonna retire from helping Barry and gang. Why get rid of them? 'Cause Thawne gave him a compliment? I suppose Cisco would make himself bald if Thawne complimented his hair too.

And yes, I know Cisco's actor wants to move on but did they have to leave his character looking this dumb?

I think the point is if he still had them he couldn't not use them to be a hero.

Really good season premier. Plenty of actual Flash scenes and cool feats. Loved the song choice haha.
