Noah looks pretty bad from the trailers, like they took a bible story and turned it into an action flick.Cos, Jews.
unfortunately, you're exactly right. NoAh was nothing else than a big budget action film. There was no story. there was no "noah" It became a heart wrenching tale of what one crazed man was going to do with a baby rather than the decision of a great man." One who was balancing the greater good of mankind instead of the encouragements of a moment."
Exodus: Gods and kings Noah & the bible min series
well im looking forward im kind of excited about it since I watch the bible mini series I didn't like the Noah movie they got it wrong they were no rock monsters helping Noah build the ark . but I hope its with the bible story not just special effects movies. what got me up set about Noah was they never did mention god they said the creator.

Fail...at there was no plot 😬clearly you didn't watch it.
Just noticed this post. Were you referring to my post? If so then i wonder why you defend the story. I got the impression that the writing/production team settled on a story that tried to appease many different ideas. There was no singular message or direction in the story telling or character development.
It's interesting that so many people ***** and moan about Aquaman being played by a Samoan and Heimdal and Johnny Storm being played by black guys, yet have no problem with movies like this.
I can imagine the shit storm that would occur if I directed a World War 2 film and casted black guys in the roles of FDR and Dougle Macarthur.

I've no problem with the person's skin color/ethnicity, it's Dorgo's acting ability that has me concerned.
That's different, since they're real life people and their background is part of who they are, influenced them. Much easier to get away with this in fictional characters, especially if their "race" is all but unimportant.

I don't see how Douglas MacArthur being white is more pivotal to his story than Ramses being Egyptian...
Because it's not likely that a non white man would have reached his position and been given command of the Pacific Theater during WW2. So having Denzel Washington play him would be out of place, unless of course there was makeup done where he looked Caucasian, that would be fine.
Just like white-man Joel is made up to look [somewhat] Egyptian. They at least tried.

I think part of it comes down to the fact that Egyptians have been depicted as white for decades and many people probably think that Moses is European looking. Also we still aren't entirely sure how Egyptians looked.
But yeah, it certainly reeks a bit of hypocrisy.
Still looks cool. I'll probably see it.
