Link and Harry Potter make a Switch

Link must go through school at Hogwartz and face all the things Harry did from year 1 to 7 and eventually fight Voldermort. Link has used magic many times before but this time he must rely completely on it as he won't have the Master Sword. (Still has Triforce of Courage)

Harry Potter has been enabled to use the Master Sword but must first use a crappy sword. He will eventually pull out the Master Sword at the Temple of Time if he survives that long. He must undergo the Ocarina of Time story and will atart at age 11 and then fight the second half of the game as 18 year old with Master sword. (Has magic abilities but no wand)

Ask yourselves important questions:

1. What house will Link go into?
2. Will Harry put up with the fairy?
3. Think outside the box.

(I think they can both fulfil each other's journeys but what unexpected twists would there be?)

Harry dies
Link survives

Are we to assume Link receives Voldemort's soul fragment like Harry did?

Both die.

They can both win assuming Harry could mimic Link's physical traits.

Both have similar personal traits; Heroism, bravery, courage etc. Adept against dark foes, using magic and skilled in combat. Both are also skilled riders.

As said, the only real difference is physically. While Link without a sword has the talent to follow Harry's path given the chances he had (all the practice and studying), Harry I feel would have trouble just taking a sword/shield and jumping into life or death combat. Especially for an eleven year old. Only if we were to assume Harry has Link's trait to quickly learn weaponry after obtaining one can I see him also winning.

Guess so, otherwise Voldemort wouldn't take much notice of him. Similar Harry would have the ToC.

Link fails at Hogwarts cause he cannot speak and thus cannot cast spells.

And whenever he succeeds in making a potion he'll lift it up into the air and the DUN DA DUN DUUUUUUN music will go off.

Link will pick up a wand and instantly master every aspect of it. He'd likely be a better wizard than Harry.

Just imagine Draco and Link confrontations.

Exactly my thoughts.

Link dies. Harry succeeds.

Even Harry has learned how to use nonverbal spells, and he's a terrible wizard.

Link not only succeeds, he gets valedictorian.

Lol when Link gets the Sword of Gryfindor for fighting Basilisk... HYA HA HYAAAAH!

I think they both succeed. They are both called "The chosen one."

Gannondorf knocks master sword from Harry out of the ring of fire...apparattes to it.

He was unarmed and taken from behind (lol). He wrecks the bassilsk! A large enemy with a special way of killing and link has a sword... Link always defeats large monsters.
