Vivek apparently attempted to achieve Amaranth, but couldn't commit to it.
Only 2 beings in TES lore have achieved CHIM and capable of achieving Amaranth: Vivec and Talos.

You really aren't keeping up with the last news in the TES lore community, lol. Basically that ESO is confirming much of MK's out of game work, and you haven't read C0DA. The reference to MK in the Vivec's Antlers location in ESO is too damn blatant. Oh and Mnemoli, and Meridia and the freaking Towers. Also, I have fixed your post.

Either way, Talos wins by virtue of having more on his favor than Vehk.
