Why havent their beem examples of deliberate technological time travel?

I mean in a super-advanced galaxy, wouldn't a species or society try to build a time machine. Time travel seen in Star Wars has only been force-related or hyperdrive malfunctions.

agreed...this Flow Walk thing is creepy....Jacen Flow walked in the middle of the council's meetings.
Imagine Flow walking back to Windu and Sora creating Vaapad. or Flow walking back to Revan being
held prisoner by the Emperor.....creepy and F@#*Ked up...

It would explain the ridiculous level of inconsistencies.
