Want to crash your browser?

http://vibrantlogic.com/new.html

Just viewing the page will kill your browser. Dare you click it?

😑

😠

did you try tex??

that's very tempting to try out

Cool!

Kewl, and it looks devilishly simple to.

It works very well too, I have my firewall and everything set and it still got me.

Yeah, it would, the firewall doesn't see basic html forms as a risk, so let it through.

Not sure how it works in itself, never seen that docuemnted anywhere, but it's fun.

I have one on my HDD somewhere that resizes a window to 1000000 pixels wide, kills the resize option and then positions all the controls off screen.

It's easy to bypass if you know the basic windows mouse keys, but so many people don't.

How did you get to copy and paste that link without crashing your own browser? And why would you want to do such a thing?

I know, I'm so naive. So kill me.

he wrote the website and some computers turn that into a link. anyway, i won't try it, don't want to crash my browser.

It's magic, and no I didn't write it.....

Ask Raz where it came from, he posted te link.

temptation.... to..... hard.... to.... resist..... nope cant do it 🙁 i am so disappointed in muhself *shakes head*

Nah, do it. You know what it does so you may as well see it. It won't also blow up your computer or anything.

I did it, I can't resist temptation.

hehe...i'm imune! It opens a new window and doesn't load anything. Not to worry...i get that with all the pages that open the clicked link in a new windo....dunno what it has.

BTW, it will only crash Microsoft browsers...so if you don't use it, you are immune.

How did I get the link? Well I right-clicked it, then clicked on 'Copy Shortcut' 😉

microsoft internet explorer...that good?🙂
It's not the browser...i remember someting about a pop-up killer gone renegade. Someting like that. AND..something about being too lazy to uninstall it.

The "crashing page" makes no use of JavaScript. It is just misconfigured HTML that for some reason causes IE to crash, instead of ignoring it.

so..it's just a compiling error.......well, as good as the one done on purpose
