Jean was pretty weaksauce without the PF. IIRC, she was getting wrecked by Toad of all people in the original movie.

Sue wins, effortlessly.

But without the PF she lifted the Blackbird and held back the force of a dam.

Sue shielded a supernova, or atleast Johnnys version of it.

Yeah. But she nearly died doing so. Jean held back the dam just fine, while lifting the jet and flying it away against the controls.

True, but it wasn't like Jean held back the entire flood. She managed to create a bubble around the Blackbird while she lifted it. And that also toke a toll great enough to unlock the Phoenix as in killed her (or whatever). I however personally find Sues feat more impressive.

Sue would have to take Jean out in oue hit, imo. Once, Jean gets a visual beat on, Sue it's over. Jean may not have the, Phoenix power here but I don't see why she needs it, assuming she knows where, Sue is. At the very least, Jean could compel, Sue into fighting hallucinations while she stabs her in the back. I don't see, Jean having any problem in knocking Sue out or even killing her with telepathy.

Jeans telekinetic powers should also be more than enough to stave off or deflect Sues force field blasts. However, if Jean doesn't know where Sue is then Sue would be able to knock Jean out or kill her with a powerful enough blast.

To me this all comes down to whether or not Jean knows where Sue is or if her telepathy will allow her to sense her in time.
