Zeus vs Genie

Zeus from Disney's Hercules vs Aladdin's Genie.

Zeus has a feat arguably far greater in scale than anything Genie ever accomplished, but it's a huge outlier considering that he was outdone by magma and ice.

Genie is overrated, but he operates on a generally higher level than Zeus. He wins.

How would he take Zeus down in your opinion?

I just watched Hercules again, Zeus is a pretty badass. Genie is too, I think it would come down to who can hurt more.

He could encase him in magma and ice, for example.

Would Genie know that's his weakness and go for that before Zeus has time to blast him?

Genie can predict the future to some extent IIRC, and more to the point Genie could encase Zeus in literally whatever he wants. He's a fairly powerful reality warper.

Can he? Don't remember any instance of him knowing what would happen next, could be wrong though. I just remember him knowing about the distant future, possibly via time travel like Merlin in that other Disney film.

Moved.

Genie can be Zues if he wants to.

I think Zeus would take Genie. Genie never showed to be much of a brawler.

Unless you take Zeus' constellation moving feat as anything more than a silly outlier, Genie should be able to win

Imo it really depends on which Genie we operate with. Is this the Genie bound to the lamp or the Genie free of his lamp?

Based on onscreen feats Genie is a lot more powerful, but needs a master wishing something to actively use his powers. Without that, he is enslaved and bound in his lamp.

Unless this is the freed version of Genie, Zeus wins.

Anyways, in the Hercules/Aladdin crossover, Hades was implied to be above Jafar when he resurrected him back as a human. Another thing to note is that Genie himself can't bring back people from the dead. Based on the crossover, Zeus would roflstomp Genie to kingdom come.
