Why do stormtroopers suck so much?

Yes I know that the empire stopped using the jango template in 12 BBY because of a clone rebellion on kamino. but still aren't the stormtroopers trained? how did the 501st legion lose to a Bunch of furry teddy bears? For example Han Solo runs into a room full of stormtroopers the stormtrooper shoots at him point blank range and still misses and Han easily shoots and kills the stormtrooper. Another part is in ESB when they are getting owned leia. And near the millenium falcon in episode 4 on the Death Star luke skywalker a farm boy with no training shoots and kills one of the stormtroopers? Why do the stormtroopers suck so much? The only "good ones" are the remaining jango clones and clone war veterans but they still get pwned by Han a nerfherder.
