No, that quote is cancer.

Lol. Shot down you cred in one-hit son. You were spouting that good shit before about quotes not being legit if they didn't align with the primary material.

To go from such a pearl of wisdom to questioning Bane > Vitiate.

GTFO

It's the name Luke was given when he was apprenticed to Sidious.

He was a Dark Jedi under Sidious. I know the concept of Sith wasn't really invented then, but I don't know if any sources since have called him a Sith either.

He was a Sith apprentice, and one of Temp's links said he was christened "Lord Skywalker" after he bent the knee.

So where do you have him?

Vader level, honestly. More skilled, less overwhelmingly powerful.

Really? He easily destroyed an AT-AT and I believe right after DE he goes on to telekinetically destroy and rebuild Vader's fortress.

That's a couple years after DE, IIRC. Also, like Galen Marek/Revan, it's implied he became stronger when he returned to the light.

Ah. Well, there's still the AT-AT feat, and he did Push Palpatine in their first duel 🙂

Vader could do both.

But not better 🙂

Do you think Vader would've lasted as long in sabers against Sheev?

Uh, yes. Although:

[Luke is] More skilled, less overwhelmingly powerful.

Fair enough. If you had to rank one over the other, who would it be?

First of all, I never said that the quote itself wasn't legit but the interpretation of the quote, quite a big difference. Secondly, the quote regarding Darth Bane is mentioned in Fact File, which doesn't mention the Old Republic era so no Bane isn't superior to Vitiate but it should still apply to the ancient Sith (Kun, Ragnos, ...).

My top 10

1. Sidious
2. Vitiate
3. Plagueis
4. Caedus
5. Vader
6. Exar Kun
7. Freedon Nadd
8. Karness Muur
9. Krayt
10. Dooku, Sadow, Darth Revan, Malgus, Nox

Dooku on par with Malgus.

Hmm. Do you see Dooku capable of holding Vader+ level guy, another Jedi, and another being at the same time in a Force choke?

Post-vanilla HoT was already capable of resisting weakened Vitiate's Force power enough to drop him in close quarters, etc. I went through that case millions of times...

Ventress successfully held Kenobi and Skywalker in force chokes until the ship moved. It isn't always about overpowering someone it's about using the tactic when their opponents guard is down.

Can't sleep.

I'm considering raising Kun to being a direct equal to Revan and Krayt.

I have him about there.

It would be wise, my friend.
