Fail. Lightsabers cut through many metals in a far advanced universe. Only thing/s that were saber resistant were metals designed specifically for that purpose.
Asgard is far advanced then star wars. And the premise of a star wars is a long long time ago in a far away galaxy.

Lol, fail post.Dooku: "Well I have Thor rendered immobile, but I can't carve him up because I never carved anyone up, DESPITE the fact that the weapon in my hand makes it possible to do so."
Right?
And how is he rendering Thor immobile and going to cut him up at the same time with a hammer flying at him?

Thor was stabbed in the side by Loki's dagger. Lightsaber>>>>Dagger.
That was a magical/asgardian dagger that was wielded by Loki. Loki, who's far stronger than any jedi. Even if a lightsaber can cut through Thor (and thats doubtful considering how little IM's blasts affcted him) the jedi's don't have enough strength to cut deeply.
