Explaining the post count of threads

As you can clearly see, this is the first post on the thread. If you count the posts on this thread, you will have a number 1 more than the number of replies listed in the replies section of the otf. This is confusing in the best thread ever, the 1 millionth post game thread, but it doesn't mean it has to be. Simply add 1 to the number of replies to know the number of posts. If you want to count the posts, then as you post the next post, add 2 to the current number of replies, then post your post.

Thank you. 🙂

This actually has two posts...

And now three posts, but two replies.

And now five post, but seven replies.

Do we need a separate thread for explaining the views hmmm

I would like someone to explain to me what "Google" bots are,

how they supposedly factor into view counts of threads,

and, presuming that they do,

how to tell if a view is from one of these "Google" bots

... and not a normal human reader.

I know of no one named Fred posting replies.

Now it's 63 replies and 42 posts

🤨

This thread was mostly referring to Epicurus who thinks replies and posts are the same thing.

Stop talking to yourself in threads.

This thread should be a sticky.
