Apart from certain preferences and perceptions, we all can find a lot in common in understanding of a variety of content of the lore. Unfortunately, debates seldom reach these situations because biases get involved and then their are some who disrupt the flow of the debates to prevent an understanding or middle-ground to occur between opposing sides.
While LeGenD does make a good point about behavior like this in general, I'm with Ant in this particular circumstance.
If LadyKulvax is trying to pass herself off as a legitimate debater, but forges fake quotes, then she deserves to be called out on her bullshit, and Ant is well within his rights to do so.

My point is about dishonesty and fabrications, these should not be acceptable. The guilty can be forgiven if he or she admits errors on his or her part.
These debates shouldn't turn into shunning of a person long-term.
What actually happens is that even if a person is in the wrong and not admitting his or her errors, the guilty person's friends would continue to support him/her, flaming more reactions as witnessed here and in the official SWTOR forums.

This started with my thread concerning most powerful characters covering TOR timeline in the lore in the official SWTOR forum. Member [B]LadyKulvax of the SWTOR forum presented controversial/non-verifiable information in my referred thread and some members of this forum called her out on this. Everything I'm saying I mean in jest, well I do find Ant very much intolerable but I have a great deal of respect for many members of KMC, and while we differ in opinions - quite drastically - at least we can have a constructive debate from time to time.

On as serious note, opposing views do not cause trouble, those members cause trouble who don't keep an open-mind and gang-up on the opposing sides in debates unconstructively without leaving a chance for middle-ground.
Constructive debate can be had with any serious member. However, SWTOR regulars including you have yet to criticize LadyKulvax for fabrications. Why is this? Fear loosing an ally in debates?
