He sure acts like one in the fights with Lobo, Superman, Diana etc with a blast of hellfire added in between. Which wouldn't affect doomsday at all.

I haven't read any of his fights that weren't with bricks. But from descriptions I've read of his feats, seems he pretty much just gets fancy with magick when he's facing another mage. That seem right? I think I have all his solo series Pre-FLASHPOINT so I'm gonna have to get around to reading them.

He just goes punch to punch with everyone. Heck even Hawkman has stalemated him three times in a slugfest. This is how Byrne Superman treated him in his own book.

Superman also beats Doomsday so nothing I said is incorrect here. Lobo would also beat Dos doomsday who is overrated and took on an unprepared weaker Jla. That is his claim to fame.

Etrigan wins as would Lobo as well against this watered down version of Doomsday.
