Magus overlapped two universes on top of each other in his spell and then fought the GotG while weakened and slaughtered a couple of them and even managed to alter reality around everyone including Starlord who had the Cosmic Cube. As well as pretty much knocking out Starlord when he was using the Cosmic Cube.
And he laughed off Drax ripping his "heart" out. So simply evaporating Magus easily is such a shitty feat

It kind o makes very little sense then unless.
1. The Cosmic Cube was very weak, or much weaker than Thanos or.
2. Magus was a glass cannon.
Thanos easily took Mar-Vell to the point that he made Mar-Vell look like a defenseless little boy. Back to my 1st thought. The Cosmic Cube must have been very weak, or near spent for Magus to have done what he did. Perhaps someone else has another opinion of the event that could add something unseen to your theory? As it is now, something seems to be missing.
