Talzin sucks, the commandos weren't jedi, Jaric captured the dread masters and is one of the best jedi of his time, he wouldn't lose to some witch

Talzin brought Dooku down to his knees, and fought evenly with Mace Windu.

She doesn't suck and Jaric lacks virtually any feats to compare with her.
