Lord Scourge Respect Thread

This is a thread dedicated to the omnipotent Lord Scourge. Respect the (former) Emperor's Wrath!

Accolades

"Scourge was an expert swordsman, at the academy even the instructors had been reluctant to face him in the training ring."

-Revan Novel

"You possess incredible potential."

-Revan Novel. (Not sure if this is the actual quote, scrounging through the novel and can't find it atm.)

Even the most powerful members of the Dark Council avoid offending the man bearing the title, “the Emperor’s Wrath.”

- SWTOR Codex

Speed/Strength

Scourge displays lightning-quick reactions while trying to figure out his assassin's hostile intent:

"All of this, from Scourge's first awareness of the speeder to confirmation of its hostile intent, took less than two seconds."

Scourge outruns cannon fire from a speeder:

"Moving with the blinding speed of the force, he raced across the courtyard, bolts ricocheting off the ground just behind him every step of the way."

Scourge tanks being shot by blasterfire:

"This time several of her bolts found their mark. Scourge's armor absorbed the worst of the attack, but he felt a searing pain in his shoulder as a small amount of the particle beam energy found its way found its way through a joint in his armor to scorch his flesh."

Scourge gets shot in the chest twice, but his advance isn't even hindered:

"One of the bolts narrowly missed his ear; two more slammed into his chest. he felt the impact, but it wasn't enough to even knock him off-stride."

Lightsaber Skills

Scourge defeats the Imperial Guard Captain, even as she draws on the Emperor for strength:

"A four move sequence overwhelmed Yarri, causing her to leave her right flank unprotected. Scourge seized the opportunity, his blade biting deep into her hip."

It should be noted that the Imperial Guard organization on the whole possesses, "the ultimate non force-sensitive fighters in the Empire."

Scourge as of the Revan Novel is a confirmed expert in Soresu and Ataru:

"He abruptly changed tactics, changing from the conventional defensive positions of Soresu form to the acrobatic attack sequences of Ataru."

Force Strength

Since I don't feel like posting all of them, Scourge's TK feats comprise of him ragdolling/choking mooks without gestures. His most significant force ability is his unique talent of gorging on his opponent's emotions to bolster his strength:

"You have a special gift. You do not just feed on the raw emotions of your foe, you gorge yourself on them. you feast on their primal fear. It amplifies your hate and anger. It fuels the power of the force. It transforms you into an instrument of death and destruction."

And, as aforementioned, Revan notes that Scourge possesses incredible potential, which logically would be reached after 300 years of existence.

Transition to SWTOR

When he was transformed into the Emperor's Wrath, Scourge became immortal, and was enhanced physically by cybernetics and the like. Being a master of Soresu and Ataru, it is logical that he would be a master of all forms, or at least an excellent lightsaber duelist, over the course of 300 years of experience. It's also stated that he's defeated 1100 opponents (100 jedi and ten times as many sith) deemed too powerful by the Emperor.

As the Emperor's Wrath, his main job is to police the dark council and keep them in check. It is even said that the most powerful on the Council don't dare to cross Scourge's path. Another thing to take note of is that Scourge states he could have killed the HoT on Quesh. The HoT at this point had:

-Defeated Darth Angral (Dark Council level.)

-Been noted as an expert duelist at the very beginning of Tython.

-Was considered by Bengel Morr to be the most powerful jedi he had ever known. The same Bengel Morr has trained with what he claims to be, "the jedi's finest," on Coruscant. This occurs on Tython.

-Considered the greatest warrior in the jedi order.

So, respect the divinity of Lord Scourge!

The quote is:

"Revan had sensed the Force in him; he had incredible potential."

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

fvking seconds late.

But yeah, I wanted to ask what you peeps think in regards to Scourge's power (in comparison to other accomplished force users.)

He's probably upper dark councilor level.

From what it sounds like, he is somewhere around Mauls level

I'm sorry, I was wrong. As Emperor's Wrath he chokes out a bunch of sith lords with no gestures.

Pretty damn powerful.

Can anyone link me?

When you escape the Emperor's space station. Well theres a bit of an inconsistency about that. It's stated that no one but Sith is allowed on the Emperor's fortress, but a few of the people Scourge killed appeared to be non-force sensitives.

Can I have that quote? Also, can you quote me on where Scourge fought Tython to a standstill? Thanks.

It's possible that the quote was referring to the Sith species.

"After infiltrating the station, you fought your way to the Emperor’s throne room. But instead of your fellow Jedi, you found Lord Scourge–the Emperor’s Wrath–waiting for you. You fought Lord Scourge to a standstill until he broke off the battle for some reason. See what he has to say in the throne room of the Emperor’s fortress."

Standstill doesn't mean draw though, Scourge was still unarmed and on his knee's.

No sure on the first quote, I think it's said by someone in game.

Hmmm. One of the people Scourge defeats is human.

Can't respect a dude with a name like that.

"Greetings, weak Jedi. I am Lord Evil, and I am your death. muhahahahahahahahahaaaaaa"

This needs to be formatted better.

I suspect the mommy's and daddies of the empire figure its best to skip the normal names and give them Sith names at birth. Saves on paperwork.

Any proper Sith would earn their evil names. Children shouldn't be named until they survive gauntlet of being a toddler.

Well, why would I be asking for Scourge material if, ya know, 😉.
Especially since I just made Bandon, Satele, Bastila, Marr, and Nord.

You actually made a Bandon Respect thread? I can't tell if that's saddest or greatest thing ever done yet.
