I agree with this, the focus on mental illness seems somewhat misguided to me in this case (though very common when the perpetrator of a crime is white).

The things he believed in and talked about cause violence (mainly against women) on a daily basis, luckily not usually in such an extreme fashion. It's a fundamental sense of entitlement that needs to go away.

The philosophy he believed in is, imo, just as much a contributing factor if not even more, than any mental illness he may have had.

The only mental illness he possessed was being a male, imo. The partiarchitus is an inherent failure within us all.

So many people jump to the 'mental illness or mentally unstable' conclusion just because they truly don't understand the situation.

And as far as the other poster, I agree with some of that, and basically said the same thing when it came to him killing just because he couldn't get laid. But, I am sure there is probably a bit more behind it.

As far as looks go, he wasn't unattractive. In fact he was rather good looking, but the ego, and his awkwardness sort of sent him into the 'no-zone'. But something tells me this guy didn't approach women, he just waited for them to approach him, and when it did not work, he assumed it was all of their faults.
