Ares does have super-speed; it's no where near as fast as QS, which is the point. Might as well argue that Captain America and Hulk are the same because they both have super strength feats; while true is ignoring that Hulk's is far greater.
If you didn't understand that the God's were being killed by metal (one by some random spike in the wall) and how MoS durability is epic levels beyond that. I don't know what else to tell you besides "stop cross thread crying".

Gods could kill Gods, that the point of the movie, remember? Equals could hurt each other, just like Kryptonians can kill Kryptonians. Don't blame it on the metal.
