Who takes this?

No matter what they bring to the table, Unicron is larger than most planets in our solar system and able to become even larger by Transforming. I see them pissing him off, but without the Matrix to "Light their Darkest Hour", they can't truly defeat him.

If they had the matrix they would win.

Anybody would win with the Matrix...well, if it conforms to the size of the person using it, yeah. If it stays TF sized, they still can't use it. But if it shrunk down then yeah, they'd win in a heartbeat. Otherwise Unicron punches Earth to death like he almost did to Cybertron.

I think Unicron might win.
