Prolly not. I doubt Nightwolf is descended from a Mediterranean war cult, and in Johnny's (non-canonical) MK9 ending, Nightwolf couldn't help him with that power. Shao Kahn uses green glowing energy too, as does Jade. Of them all, I think only Jade has a connection, as she uses a very similar move, and it's called Shadow Kick.

And.. it was said that you had to beat story mode first in order to have Shinnok unlocked right? Well, I was already able to play as him from the start 😐, unless there's another character that gets unlocked from the story that I'm not aware of.

The MK X comics is what he is saying turned out to be non cannon you said.

after 145 online matches My characters are as follows:

Mains are Kung Jin and Sub Zero
Secondaries are Johnny Cage and Erron Black.

For some reason im always dropping Erron Blacks combos thats why he went from main to a back burner character. I would also like to get good with a female character. My preference was always Jade but now idk. I might give Jacquie a try. In story she seemed okay. I haven't messed around with Cassie much though.

I think Shinnok is the character because I didn't unlock him until after I beat story. However, he was readily available in online mode.

Cryomancer and i have been messing around with Grandmaster.

Also maybe it was the update today but for some reason I have the Klassic Sub-Zero costume. At first I thought maybe it was because Im lvl 42 in the Lin Kuei faction but the guy I fought also had it and he was only lvl 11. I love it though! lol And the Blue Steel costume looks almost like something out of Batman The Animated Series.

Kuai Liang is even more of a badass in MKX than he was in MK9 imo. Helps that he's being voiced by Steven Blum.

And agree on Kuai. Still hoping on Sareena DLC or that she at least joins the Lin Kuei or something in the future story. Liked how she had a little involvement again despite not being playable...

I just like the design to be honest. Shinnok's amulet is an awesome touch.
As for the concept, I think I agree. Raiden's character is that of a benevolent protector, not a vengeful destroyer.
As good an assumption as any. Hopefully it gets explained in the next game.

None of them may even be canon again though, like with MK9's arcade endings, so whatever.

I kinda like D'Vorah's character itself, but whom she killed would make her much hated by a number of fans, naturally... Kung Jin's still my least liked newcomer.

And I should have said it here before, but I hate how they mislead us with like Kitana, Liu Kang, and Kung Lao before the game came out,

Hanzo was a specter in the beginning of the game. He was still working for Quan Chi when he and Sub Zero attacked Cage in Chapter 1. But yeah we never saw a canon living Kang or Lao. They straight up lied to us 😂

Which is a shame too, because I actually like how the aged Liu Kang looks. And almost forgot about that with Scorpion in the first chapter, so good point,

THe one thing I don't get is how the scrubby/noobie team managed to fight and beat Sindel when that ***** soloed a dozen kombatants in the last game ~_~

I guess thats the downside of the way NR studios handle campaigns. I guess I'll take it.
