Some updates...
Kp2 gives us new trophies about 10+ (mostly new character and stage fatality related.)
Xeno pose is the one where you see the enemy trapped in the hive and chestbuster rips her/him open.
Acid has crazy chip damage with a 1 bar combo you can easily perform q 50+% combo (with burning effect off course)
Cyber Sub-zero uses drones to further increase the damage his moves does it also changes some moves.(Can summon up to 3)
Leatherface's arcade ending I'll admit was ****ed up and pretty fitting. Bo Rai Cho's I didn't like but love his gameplay. Alien and Triborg's endings were about what I expected.
So far, I like Alien's acidic variation the best, Smoke for Triborg (generally prefer human Smoke over cyber, but the trident spear reaaally takes me back), and for Bo Rai Cho a tossup between dragon breath and the one where he uses his staff. Drunken master I'll admit is pretty viable too though.
p.s. To select the hidden Cyber Sub-Zero variation outside of training mode, select Triborg and press up, up, Y/triangle.

Acid is the best for me so far.
Easy combo that does roughly 50+% damage
Corner b then ex b,f, circle special u+triangle for bounce b then d,b circle special then b d,f x special it's cool cause it keeps the enemy in the acid puddle with xeno strike.
Noticed that if you beat Predator or Mileena different chestbusters appear at the winning screen.(Predalien)
Each variation of Triborg has a background ,icon...etc
10,25,50,100 win backgrounds even Cyber Sub-zero has 4 of them
To use CSZ in the throw brutality just hold up.
His secret brutality is a Han Solo freeze wall.
You have to have a drone out then b,f square(hold)+ ex
For secret Sektor one just use the flamethrowér as the last move
Yet to try the other 2 characters
Hm... I guess the only Triborg background I have so far must be Smoke then. I knew about the different icons, but good to see that each each Triborg variation has its own background, etc. too.
The hidden Sektor flamethrower brutality I actually did and found out by accident. lol That other CSZ info I'll be sure to put to good use in the future though. Thanks.

Tried Leatherface he is pretty neat I like Butcher the most he is easy to play with great damage.His b ,triangle does a stuning move like Jason's head hit f,triangle.
Out of the Cyborgs ,Smoke has the coolest combos.Tryin to get better with Cyrax.
Easy 30% combo mid screen b,triangle for launch b then b,f square(net) d,d,triangle for air bomb do an uppercut the bomb should bounce the enemy back uppercut again.

Agreed, Smoke does have the best combos seems like.
Yeah, it's Rain fighting Blaze in his pre-Armageddon/boss form, which technically first appeared in the MK2 pit stage background which this is a throwback to, though no one knew who Blaze was at that time, but he had that smaller human esque form as a hidden playable fighter in Deadly Alliance.
In the original timeline Blaze was captured there and enslaved by Onaga's holymen to guard the dragon egg that Onaga's essence dwells within. It'd be a cool twist I guess if Rain was in league with them now.
There would be a trophy for the Kraken. lol What stage doesn't have a fatality by this point? (serious question)

Got the Kraken trophy you have to use Triborg in the Klassic.tower for it.
Well we only 3 stage fatalities (kove,Pit,refugee kamp)
5 stage brutalities(kove,dead woods,training,quan fortress,market place)
So we still have courtyard, krossroads, destroyed city ,kuatan jungle, skytemple , Lin Kuei temple and Jinsei temple for none ones.
(I might be wrong about some.)

Damn, that's inspired me to start grinding some for the KP2 character kard stuff sooner than later. Even if I don't use much of them I'm sure I'll at least use some of the icons I unlock.
Oh, so those were the stages still missing fatalities huh? Should've known I was forgetting some...
Not sure how long this will last (probably until Tuesday), but currently the premier tower is a 12 match tower that allows you to play all the KP2 characters in each of their variations. Kind of like a character demo tower I guess to give people an idea of what they're like to play as before they decide if they want to buy them or not. Anyway, going through it now just to check out how Leatherface plays since I don't have him. His 'pretty lady' variation is surprisingly amusing with how differently he dresses and is mostly exclusive to chainsaw throwing in it.
I'd recommend giving that tower a shot while it lasts if you're curious as to how the characters you don't have play hands-on.

Leatherface is cool his b,d circle chainsaw reminds me of Erron's sand wall thing nice stunner move.
Got 100 card for Cyber Sub it's nothing special him shooting ice beam in the woods.
Yet to get the kards for the other 2 guys.
Smoke card is easily the best for now.
Bo is amazing.
That dragon breath burning ground special does insane damage with ex.
His movement is pretty slow though still he is awesome
Getting better with Cyrax his bomb set ups are great if you get the hang you can do 40+% damage with no bar.Still it im far from that level though..haermm
Oh... From previous posts I assumed you only had Alien and TriBorg, which was why I mentioned the tower. Went through it twice just now to try all the things I could with Leatherface. His playstyle doesn't really suit me like the other three KP2 characters, but am glad to have got the opportunity to try him without buying him. His 2nd fatality is classic and the brutality where he uses his little hammer (in butcher variation, I think) was quite amusing.
Don't normally care for them, but I like the Alien kutie icon. lol I'll prolly unlock most of the KP2 kard stuff within the next days.
And yeah, dragon breath so far seems to be my favorite variation of his in part for that reason.
Cyrax was pretty damn good with those bombs in MK9 from what I recall, so not surprised there. He is the variation I seem to be best with aside from Smoke, so will try to keep it up with him too.
I like some of the new dialogue intros, like one where Tremor seeks an alliance with Bo Rai Cho, the Johnny Cage wisecracks with the KP2 characters, and things like that. Just wish there was more unique dialogue between Sub-Zero and cyber Smoke, since Smoke was his friend and all.
I was gonna but since I dont have a credit card and the smallest amount of cash I could charge my account was 6000 huf which is the exect price of kp 2.

Cyrax is a beast the best combo for his set ups are.
Far air bomb f,circle,x enemy bounces back from bomb quick normal air bomb then uppercut bomb bounce again quick far air bomb f,circle ,x again then uppercut.
This is a meterless 39%
When ever you get enemy in the net just do the mentioned combo .
That way it wont do 39% cause after net damage decreases but it will be a guaranteed 32-35% damage.
A fast starter can be a f triangle,square then net or a b,triangle circle net.
If you want you can use mid ground bomb instead of air in the combo but that does less damage.
Instead of uppercut ending you can also use b,square ,triangle+circle buzzsaw combo damage is the same.
With meter the best i did was 41% that still meh compared to a 39% meterless.ermm
Darn it they nerfed Tremor's dd circle ex special it no longer does 13% after uppercuts only 5%
His infinite combo is.still awesome though
