Plo Koon vs Ven Zallow

Who wins?

Plo in a good fight.

Hmm Ven Zallow is a great swordmaster with a lot of endurance, he might be able to bring Koon down

Zallow is Agen Kolar level I can see him winning

Plo Koon stalemated Ventress in a duel while injured, Zallow has nothing but the accolades and his ownage of the Sith Warriors on Coruscant. Even without Force Abilities I'd bet on Koon taking this.

His fight with Malgus was fairly epic even if he lost, and the Book of the Sith has a bit from Malgus's journal where he talks about a sith assassin who had infiltrated Zallow's place and was expected to slay him, only for Zallow to cut him in half.

Agen Kolar would lose to Plo Koon.

I've said this argument before and I'll say it again--Malgus's capabilities in a duel are impressive because he defeated Zallow, the only fighter Malgus has bested that had feats and accolades to his name at the time he fought him.

His victory over Zallow is what determines his level by this point, not the other way around. It's like saying the reason Sidious is because of his defeating Yoda, and the reason Yoda is impressive is because he held his own against Sidious. It doesn't work without outside performances against opponents (with feats) in dueling, which Malgus doesn't have.

The thing about the Assassin is interesting, though.

Creek or no?

Forget accolades and such for a moment- The fight itself was simply very impressive. TK, physical abilities, the works.

Both were scything through every foe that wasn't each other, and when they clashed it was simply a very high-level duel.

People are also forgetting that Zallow didn't fight prime Malgus. The board views Aryn Leneer~Ventress. Emperor Malgus would utterly curbstomp Zallow in seconds. Temple Raid Malgus is roughly Ventress level, arguably below because he still hadn't received the powerups he had after killing his waifu, and the powerup he receives during his duel with Aryn.

Even as of the Temple Raid Malgus pwned a Jedi who collapsed two buildings on him, while wounded, could blast holes in peeps and kill groups of Jedi with lightning, destroyed a squad of fighters with a force scream, tossed Satele and Aryn around and defeated the Jedi Battlemaster 30 years prior.

When did he toss Satele and Aryn around? When did he blast holes in people or kill groups of Jedi with lightning? I think I heard about the starfighter thing though.

Also didn't he struggle with Aryn...and Satele for that matter?

In his fights with them. In Deceived he smacks Aryn around with TK about 3 times (she throws him no times, despite having better TK feats) and he shoves Satele backwards off the tree they're fight on in their duel too.

He defeats the Zabrak Jedi in The Third Lesson, overpowering his lightsaber defense and "blasting dark holes" in his body. Which is doubly impressive since the lightsaber would doubtless be blocking some of the power of the lightning. And he kills 3 Jedi at once with a blast of lightning in the Temple Raid in the book.

Yeah, he did. I thought the board considered Aryn ~ Maul though. And I'd put Satele at or above Ventress too.

I hardly consider that throwing around.

Zabrak Jedi literally has one feat though so its hardly impressive. And is it really doubtless? Not everyone can deflect lightning. The three Jedi at once is impressive.

Nah the vote is dead even.

Well he literally threw them off their feet and into stuff, so ok? Its not as if Leneer didn't have her defenses up, it says she does at the start of the fight.

Yeah but that one feat is him collapsing two huge freaking buildings, so he's clearly a powerhouse. A Jedi in the middle of a decades long war against Sith would know how to deflect lightning with his lightsaber. It even says he was trying to do it but Malgus' lightning was too powerful for him to contain. And Malgus was heavily injured.

One time. Neither of them are noted to having supreme force defences.

Yeah, not really. No evidence of them being huge. That's really not a guarantee, I'm pretty sure there's a source that says even Jedi Masters struggle to defend against it. Also this dude is featless.

How convenient, tell your dupe I say hi excellent

You mean other than Satele blocking a lightsaber with her bare hands? And Leneer blocking Malgus' lightning in midair? Plus a Force Shield is basically just TK, which Leneer has in abundance.

Well I respectfully disagree, since it's better than Ventress has come close to doing. There is evidence of them being huge since they a) produced a mountain of rubble b) reached the middle of a street wide enough to land a transport ship in and c) you can see the cities on Alderaan in the Hope trailer and the buildings are huge.

I'm pretty sure that's with their hands, not their lightsabers.

He was also able to duel for some time with Malgus.

No dupe. I honestly hadn't voted yet.
