I would love to believe this is real. Who wouldn't? It's a tremendous opportunity for humanity. But if it was real we would know because it would not just be on non-credible websites. Sigh. Looks like I'll have to wait till scientists can de-evolve birds into dinosaurs.
De-volving birds into dinosaurs isn't far off, since the gene is there somewhere within modern day birds. While being a tremendous attraction, things to consider in the case of herbivores would be whether or not today's plant life could sustain them. Plant life has changed over the billions of years so whatever nutrients they had then might not existing today's plant life.
Disease: what diseases would they inherently bring to modern day life? Salmonella is prevalent in reptiles so there may be a stronger strain. But for the chance to see an actual saurian in articulated movement would be a real treat, I agree. Jurassic Park might not be too far off.
