All in all, I'm satisfied with the US's performance in this world cup. We are a much better team than we were in 2010 when teams like Slovenia and Algeria gave us fits and we only beat England because of a ridiculous own-goal.
With its current FIFA rank of 13, the USA is one of the few teams that's actually playing at its presumptive level.
Bradley ****ed up at the end, but we have to remember that without him the US is a much weaker team (as seen in the games between the qualifiers and the world cup when Bradley was out for an injury) so it's a bit like certain Heat fans getting angry at Lebron for "not doing enough" when he was most of the reason why they'd gotten to the finals in the first place.
Regarding the Germany game, it would behoove both teams to play to a draw, but America will probably try to win anyway so that they get a weaker team in the knockout round.
Klinsmann was on record as saying he wouldn't collude with Germany for a draw, but it must be mighty tempting for both teams and both coaches.

Not even the poor judgement of the referee saved CroatiaMexico 3-1 and it should have been at least 4-1
they have stolen us 3 goals since the beginning of the cup
The second no call hand ball was really infuriating. Mexico's defense is alright but I don't think it'll be enough for Holland. I hope it turns out to be a great match though.
What do you guys think about Italy vs Suarez tomorrow?

Holland has always been a great team and I believe Mexico has never beaten them in a world cup. Still today is a new unit of time and today is the present not the past.
Hopefully they can win. But Holland is a really good team.
I'll be disappointed if Holland loses to Mexico, but it could happen if they come in playing like they did in the first half against Australia.
But Spain-crushing Holland is a beast that's nigh unbeatable.

Well I guess that to ask fans to behave is kind of pointless.
Originally posted by Omega VisionThere are certain standards for soccer fans that Mexican fans often flout, such as "when a member of the opposing team is preparing a corner kick, don't throw glass bottles at him."
Yep they do that, but I can't and won't apologize for them. Is something they do and they do on all games in Mexico and outside of it and just to clarify is not ALL of them.
There might be some drunk non-respectful Mexican fans as well as non-respectful fans from all over the world
This is the reason why I avoid sports events, when people are drunk and in a sports event with their pack of friends they get extra bold it is not something exclusive of Mexican fans, IMO.
And I hope Mexico wins vs Holland.
Spain was just playing plain bad, IMO

I read an article today that suggests that now that America is becoming a respectable futbol power and its fans are becoming rabid, other nations, particularly Brazilians, are starting to hate them because the underdog charm is gone.

Not saying there aren't ugly fans for every team and nation, just that Mexico seems to have a particular glut of them.I read an article today that suggests that now that America is becoming a respectable futbol power and its fans are becoming rabid, other nations, particularly Brazilians, are starting to hate them because the underdog charm is gone.
That is the same thing I was reading and honestly I think is because USA became such a good team that pushed everybody in the CONCACAF to become better.
