How did it die? Crystal Skull actually made a shit ton of money at the box office, and even has a pretty high score on Rotten Tomatoes believe it or not.

Fact is the film's financial success proved people still want this franchise around. At this point though a reboot is probably the way to go.

I should have specified - dead to me. I couldn't give less of a shit what others think. I just don't wanna see the Indy franchise get shit on like that again.

IMO, just pull a "James Bond" and replace the actor every 10 years.

I never cared that much for the originals but don't want to see this rebooted either.

Ha, not being a Pattinson fan, i thought this was about Patton Oswalt!!!

THAT would be an epic choice, IMO. Anyhow, i believe a reboot is coming, too. People will complain, but, people will go see it. Depending on if it tanks or not we'll get more.

Plus, seeing him go from adventurer to Professor (like the first movie) would be okay, but the reverse would be even more of a shock.
