Thats actually true, they've killed Sith, super-advanced wardroids and giant monsters, not to mention all the crazy raids nonsense like assaulting Korriban. The Havoc Squad Commander is a beast.

Cody and Rex should have more powerful and advanced gear and weapons so logically they should take this. The Trooper's detonators hardly scratched Malgus, meanwhile CWs era thermal detonators annihilate large buildings.

And the Trooper is the single best solder in the Republic AND Empire, by far. One mission has him and another squadmate solo the 6 best soldiers in the Empire.
