Namor has been stabbed on many of occasions completely through...from one end to the other and was still fight.

Being stabbed will greatly reduce your chances of winning. Maybe not in the beginning but more and more as the fight goes on. Also being stabbed isn't the same as getting your neck or body part sliced a good deal. Imagine trying to punch when part of your arm is hanging loose. Greatly reduces power doesn't it?

That 1.1 skill advantage was with a weapon.

I also negated it by giving extra weight to Namor's strength advantage.

Got any scans of Ares actually showcasing his battle skills?

One of Ares' weapons, war cleaver or whatever, got cut into pieces by Daken's bone claws.

Physically, Daken and Wolverine are pretty much the same, as revealed by Tinkerer. That means the durability and sharpness of their bone claws should be comparable.

Hobo Namor casually broke pre-Weapon X Logan's claws. In Danger Room, the claws shattered after making contact with his skin.

What I'm saying is... Ares was damn lucky, doing that shallow cut 😛
