Plageuis vs Vitiate (force fight)

Vitiate. He's almost entirely force-centric and the best way to beat him is to get him in melee.

Plageuis, for all his love of the force, relies a lot on his physical abilities in a fight.

I honestly don't know. Vitiate's lightning impresses me more, while Plagueis's TK impresses me more. Plagueis has his lightsaber to defend against Vitiate's lightning, but Vitiate still has a force shield. This is honestly gonna be a close one.

Vitiate. As stated above, Plageuis relies on his saber skills more than Vitiate does and Vitiate achieved things that Plageuis could never come close to.

Vitiate blew 4 masters back, Plagueis disintegrated beings. Plagueis's lightning was strong enough to light up a valley, and he can easily absorb Vitiate' lightning

He's faster, has all of the millenia past Vitiate in terms of knowledge, and Vitiate is useless without prep

I'd like to point out here that while we are both defending Plagueis, Carthage's views sure as hell don't reflect my own and shouldn't detract from the validity of my own arguments.

There is nothing to defend. Off nexus Plagueis's feats MASSIVELY outweigh Vitiate's. With a nexus, Vitiate gets killed even faster because Plagueis is simply too fast for him

He doesn't need it. He's the most powerful Sith Lord up until that point in history, he's not going to get mind ****ed casually by anyone.

It's only his own opinion that he's that powerful. Anyway, I didn't say Vitiate would do it casually, did I?

Vitiate was able to deceive Tenebrous for one, and manipulate him in order to assume the mantle of Dark lord of the Sith. The fact that it was only Palpatine who had dominated him speaks loads about his mental fortitude though

Plagueis when he was completely on the verge of dying was able to send a scream that nearly atomized beings. You need like a literal Ton of firepower to do that to someone.

Sidious at that point has no telepathic feats to speak of. Plus wasn't Sidious able to defend against Plaguies' mental probings while barely trained, if at all? Vitiate on the other hand is superior to the Dread Masters who can enslave armies with the TP, has torn apart the minds of dozens of Jedi who got close to him and Plagueis lacks the knowledge of how to defend against his mind.
