He was trying to sacrifice himself to save the rebels,not kill the emporer.

He sacrificed himself because he knew he couldn't kill the Emperor. If he could kill the Emperor, he wouldn't need to save the rebels to begin with. He would have saved them by killing the thing that was holding them back.

I'm going wiith Savage defeating early TFU Marek, but end TFU Marek wins. Also, just in case the parameters change again, TFU II Starkiller wins, as does the Dark Apprentice.
